both my daughters were sent by the school to check if they were gifted through the school board's accessment - if they could attain the gifted programme or not. my elder daughter was not successful as she was screened out on the 3rd or 4th round. my younger daughter is in the gifted programme now. the method in teaching these kids are different from the normal school, aims at guiding them to think through discussions, trips, focus groups etc. she learns and sees a lot.
