You are lucky. My c6 does not suport me. He is doing things in the opposite way.
When I was in hospital, my c6 took leave. He visited me 1 hour everyday and he spent the rest of time at home with his computer and PS3. When I was pregnant with our first kid, he quited. He said he will take care of me, but I see him either spending his time with computer / PS3 or sleeping. I was alone suffering.
