We are currently visiting our parents in Canada and the news made a huge deal out of it so I've changed mine to the glass Born Free bottles. Many department stores in Canada had removed all the BPA bottles already and those BPA free ones are short of stocks too.
What should i do to all my Avent products? I have about 10 bottles, sterilizer, breastexpress pump etc.... sigh~ it was a waste.
take those bottles to London Drugs or Zellers and get the refunds.

I know Avent, it has Bisphenol A,
but the pecentage is so little,
they said it is so safety for use.
And I choose BFREE bottle!
I thinkPES IS BETTERCHOICE for me!
Better to be safe. I'm sterilizing-boiling my bottles like the good old days now. It's a huge thing in Canada and thank goodness i'm visiting my parents at this time so i can refund all of my Avents.
I read from SCMP and said that 10 models of baby feeding bottles had been suspended from sale and samples sent for testing. The suspension involved six brands, Pigeon, Avent, NUK, chu Chu, Chicco and doctor Browns. But it was stressed that the move did not mean the products were unsafe.
Bisphenol - A only releases in high temperature. The amount the bottle releases is not harmful.
Actually, if your baby is older than 1 yr...the bottles need not to be steamed anymore...for me, I only wash it as normal cup...no steaming, no Bisphenol-A ga la.
