Victoria is the famous kindergarden in HK side. They have the best result for the allocation of primary school. If you want to apply K1 in Victoria, it's not easy to get in. Cos many parents will let their child start from pre-nursery in Victoria, can directly go to K1 after with no interview. Let's see this year, my son has a interview in Victoria pre-nursery, over 600 applicants in only one campus. They have only hundred of applicants will success. My son is one of the lucky boy.
Ming Wai (Int') is good too (Ms karen), but is not famous in HK. If you 'knock door' for the primary school (P1), so what do you think this primary school will choose the Victoria's student or Ming Wai's student?
It's only my opinion....hope can help you & very happy to share with you here...

I ask the teacher in Ming Wai before. They said their web site not ready yet. May be you can phone them & ask after summer holiday.
as some problem w/ my account, I can't response till now...
since you've joined Victoria's interview, would u mind sharing some experience w/ me, like, group/individual interview, what questions did they asked? What to prepare?
Victoria's interview most likely their playgroup's activities, such as 1) give you some toys to play 2) tell you a story & see how is your bb....3) they play the music & see your bb can handle the shaker to follow the music or not....They will arrange 6-7 bb (same age) in the same group to join the interview. My son was under no pressure to interview, cos he joined the playgroup for half year before interview. So this is the advantage to join their playgroup that more easier to get-in their pre-nursery class. Coz your bb can do well in the interview. But most important is your bb can not cry during the interview.
So, may I know how old is your bb?
Tks for your info. My child is about 2yrs2mths. She joined the playgroup for about 7 mths but only twice a mth. She is rather boylish in class as she can't sit still or concentrate in story listening, may be it's because the class is conducted all in English so she couldn't understand. when she is being asked by the teacher, she sometimes could response but w/ very soft voice. If it's group interview in Victoria, I'm quite worried she couldn't behave properly.
Btw, do u know the difference between Victoria in North Point & CWB?
Sorry, don't know what is the difference between CWB & North Point. Cos my son only attended their playgroup in Harbour Heights for half year, every saturday (2 hours). One hour taught by the English Teacher.
I know different campus have different class. For example, Harbour Heights campus don't have K2-K3....Cos they don't have enough space. So If you start PN in Harbour Heights campus, they will transfer the students to other campus to continue to K2-K3
