係呀,我囡囡係今年既畢業生, 係畢業典禮上校監親自講出開放日既日期仲邀請在坐既人到時去參觀. 而係散學禮嗰日學校都派左邀請咭比家長,所以係冇cancel到,唔使太擔心.

不過平心而論,今次搞新校方面,學校既資料的確係比較混亂,可能有好多野都未搞掂啦! 希望快啲上軌道, 好似正校咁正常運作啦!

you got the invitation already? i think if it has been delayed then they are very badly organised cause they annouced it during the parents meeting

I have checked that the open day will be held in the Mid Aug and only in 滌濤山。

Today, Teacher called the open date will re-schedule to 29 Aug. But I think I can't go as it is a Friday

How come their open day will just on weekday only? So most of the parents at work can't join. Why don't they open one more day on Sat or change the schedule to Sat? I was very disappointed about this re-arrangement as my husband and I can't go on that day.

Just given the school a call this morning and they have confirmed that the open day will be held on Friday 29th August.

I asked why was this not communicated to the parents and we had to read about this online from other parents who had a call about this, then she said that the parents of existing students was called by their class teachers about this, and the new parents will be sent a letter about the open day. I then told her the date that their Head Teacher had announced was this Sunday and not all parents come on to the same parenting forum so what if their turned up? Also told the lady who was on the phone that I think they have been misleading the parents and understand there are factors that they could not control but we as the parents should not be kept in the dark!

Toward the end of the call I said to them that there is no way that my husband will take a day off at such short notice and to go to their open day and same as most parents. She said the will go back to her supervisors about this and see if they can arrange for another day.

I honest think that they are a good school this is the reason I am sending my son there. But they are just so bad at organizing this simple event. I am not a bad person really!! Just want things to be in the light so that I know what is going on!

好同意你的講法, 她們就是安排得那麼差勁, 已經不是第一次廷期, 新校一次又一次延期, 連開放日都廷期, 而且新安排又不是假日, 好多家長都想去也去不得, 真不知她們怎麼搞的..

最不能接受就是樣樣事情都不公開, 不到最後一刻都不通知家長, 真的那麼多不確定嗎...為什麼不能盡早定下計劃呢, 對她們辦新校的各項安排真有點失望

真係.....唔想講都要講吓!
我都覺得佢地係安排同老師之間溝通好有問題.
唔好講open day,講開學咁簡單.日子都唔明確.
我換校服時問過正校老師,佢答我8月中.
但我8月頭打佢問正校,點解仲收唔到開學信.佢仲話講座時咪講得好清楚9月開學.我話7月尾問過老師佢唔係咁講.
佢話可能佢地都唔清楚喎.
吓!老師都話唔清楚,咁唔通我會清楚咩??我緊係信老師喇.
今次open day,我唔係上網都唔知有改.
今日星期四喇.咩通知都無.唔係打去問又係唔知.
我一早約好晒屋企人,家陣又話改,真係唔知點跟佢地做野好.
我好失望囉.雖然話新校,但佢地自己老師都溝通得咁差.真係唔知點算好??

我係星期三返左學校親身同校長傾過,表達左我地一班家長覺得安排混亂及問左以下一啲問題:

推遲開放日及開課原因
校長解釋推遲開放日原因確實係因為裝修未完成. 因為經過一場大雨後令學校水浸, 故需要重舖地磚, 維修門框, 修補牆身. 維修過後亦需要清洗冷氣鏪, 工程將於八月廿七日完成. 故只能安排最快於廿九日開放. 如家長未能出席可於平日到校參觀. 另,如家長未能於星期五出席, 學校亦會於八月三十日(星期六)下午作公開開放,詳情可致電學校查詢.

完成學校註冊
校長亦展示出政府批該之滌濤山分校之註冊証,故家長可放心推遲開放日及開課不是因為註冊問題.

預繳之九月份校車費
因九月份只需交半費,故預繳之九月份校車費將會作為十月份之校車費. 家長於開學後只需繳交九月份半費車資.

校長亦對於推遲開放日表示不好意思, 但為左確保學生能在完善既學校環境學習只好在維修工程完成後開放.

希望大家知道後安心啲啦! 不過呢兩日又打風,希望唔會令工程受阻啦!

P.S.如果你地有問題想親身問清楚校長,可以於平日上午八點及下午一點去正校搵佢,因為呢兩個時間係上,下午班既上課時間. 正,副校長都會企係學校門口架. 我都係趁下午見到佢問佢咋!

Yes, they called me last week too cause i complained about it before, i ask the headteacher so if i didn't call to complain then you won't let me know?

anyway, anyone going on Friday? Excited about the first day?
