I went to ask my agent (Tech???), they said no news and I have to wait few more days. I asked their staff whether I have to pay more, they say they don't know yet. Even have to pay, "in theory" will not ask employer to pay. Honestly I don't 100% trust them. I call them almost 2 times per week but no still no solid reply. Just wait and wait and wait...... Very angry.
Really how many days I have to wait? HK immigration has granted the visa in mid Feb 13. I start to find another agent and interview the existing maid.
Now I just want to know if my overseas maid come or not. They must confirm me!!! Very angry !!!!! We are all facing "unlimited" waiting time!!!!
My case is a bit difference. She is a replacement of my first maid (Sri Lanka), therefore, I no need to pay anything except HKD1123.
The most I feel angry I pick the replacement @ Nov 12 and she scheduled ETA at 24.1.2013. What I hell, I received a call @ 5/1/2013 and agent said she get pregnant. I need to pick again. Shit!
I don't mind to find and paid to another agent but now the status is odd, visa approved. Whole case has been totally tied up by this agent. I don't know when she come or finally don't come or how much I pay. Butat least tell me.
If they really want me to pay extra $5500, I prefer to hire a existing maid in other agent. Why take a risk to hire an overseas one and pay HK$11,000 or more. Besides, they have to refund to me as they have breach the contract.
I will consider to submit the case to Consumer Council / small claims if necessary.
P.S. Better don't hire maid from Sri Lanka. Why? I never see a woman in this world as stupid as her. Basic survival skill.......cup noodle, she cannot cook. Just wonder what she have in her home country!!!
