我今日岩岩比USC (University of Southern California) 收左，今年FALL入學。想各位媽媽講下USC附近既環境同生活，因為一直都係SEATTLE生活，唔係好清楚LA既情況！
而且去一個新環境讀書真係有好多野要適應，如果呢度有USC既校友，希望可以分享下USC既學校生活啦：）

I live in southern CA. USC is a good school. The one thing people usually complain about LA/OC area is the traffic. Look on google map on where you wanna go, and x2. The highway system is great but there is traffic all the time.

You might see a lot of undergrad. students there graduated from Harker (a top private high school in San Jose, CA). Usually an "average" student from Harker can easily get into USC, and Harker grads are usually from "rich" families or at least upper-middle class.

Thanks :) actually I wanna know more about el camino college because my cousin will be studying in US starting from next fall. If you know anything about el camino college, would you please tell me something about the school and the neighborhood?

I know kids who currently go there. It seems like a very popular cc for ppl from HK. It\'s near LAX. The area is not great and as far as I know, they don\'t have dorms. Student services is not friendly either.

El Camino College is in Torrance/Gardena. That area is just OK. The weather is better than San Gabriel valley but in general, the area is a little bit run down now.
