Hi Lynni,

The webcam I installed is a mini server itself. When I go to the IP address of the webcam through internet from outside it will automatically deliver the pictures to me. Mine one does not have the recording function but it can be done by installing another software in your PC. I don't know how it works but my IT friend knows (he owns a small IT company and could help to buy and install the webcam and the necessary accessories). Let me know if you are interested and I can PM to you.
