Dear all mama,
I just arrive New York , i live in Flushing .

Any suggestion for my boy , he age 9, i want to find some activities to him.

and any sugestion to eat , tomorrow is my birthday , i want to dining out

i am in queens too. flushing 好多間都唔錯的﹐我地好鐘意鹿鳴春的蟹粉小籠包﹐WEEKEND多數都要排隊等位的.
另外﹐朝坊的鹵水鴨都唔錯..

Happy Birthday here..
we normally have different gathering every month.
Some in staten island some in queens.
Tomorrow (7/20) will have BBQ at staten island at my home.
Also, it is a gathering sponsored by Gerber organic baby food, and Margaritaville Icy drink for summer party.

and next month, at August 10 (sunday) we will have birthday party for Eddison and Amanda, the august boy and girl.

at Queens, we have 2/3 BK moms there. sure easy for you to find a buddy.

Nice to hear you ,i just back home , still have a jet lag , i woke up at 3pm today

, and still have headache.

Today we went to flushing again and go HK Supermarket to buy some seasoning and try thai hair message ,after that we went multipex to saw" journey to the centre ", it'sa good 3D film , my boy loves so much.

Tomorrow they have a party,it's so cool! hope i can join , if i can wake up,

Do you know any express bus can go from linden to Manatten 68 st , i only find qm2 to 59 st strreet only,my husband need to go there to work, last friday , we took q25 then transit to mtr line 7 to grand central then transit to line 4 and then got off at 59 st station , then transit to line 6 and got off at 68 st station, then walk around 10 min to destination we nearly use 1 hr 45 min ,so we want to find the faster way.

Thanks, you are so kind, i just wake up suddenly but i still feel dizzy,poor my birthday !!

we live in 2930, 137 st flushing, and my husband need to go 68 st east manatten,New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center,hope can find the express way , you can save our life,

it;s quite terrible need to spend nearly 2 hours on transportation

your boy is 9 yrs old.. for older kids, i am not sure... but library and park might be good too??
luk ming chun is across from the hk supermarket.
where did you hv the thai hair massage? is it in the 2nd floor? was it good?

Hi Didima,
Welcome to NY. I live in Flushing and work in midtown too. I think yourhubby can take Q25 to Main Street, transfer 7 then F on 5th Avestation. It should take an hour to work everyday. During peak hours, 7train has express service, the commute should not be too bad.

Hi babygigi,Nillie_Mami,
i just celebrate my birthday , eat my cheese birthday cake bought from market.

When everyone sleep , i wake up.

I went Thai king salon , i think is ok, 25 us dollars for 1 hour and need to pay 8- 10 dollars tips.

and i just find the summer school call Peace Academy @ps 20, they has a whole day programme, 8:30-4 pm, learning in the morning and have some activities in afternoon, such as visit art museum, zoo, science centre, sports activites .....
with meal too, fee is 799 us dollars, and other programme is only for fast track learning from mon-fri 2:30-6 pm, monthly fee is 190us dollars, it's seems quite good, i will call them tomorrow.

Today my husband ask the bus driverand teach us to take qm2,qm2 is the express bus, after pass tunnel then tranfer bus 103 or 101 , then my husband can drop off exactly at hospital, hope it is ok la.

We plan to go Nigara Falls, and also we plan to go Bonston Harvard U and Wastington, we plan seperate to 3 trips to go, any suggestion ?we still plan join local tour or go by ourselves.

for 25bucks is not expensive wor! where is it? 佢地的THAI MASSAGE正唔正宗? maybe i should ask my hubby to go too ^_^

it's good that you found your boy a summer school.. then he will not be too bored in summer. i love summer schools here, they bring kids around with just paying a few bucks.

last time we joined the local tour going to niagara(the cananda side) 4yrs ago with my parents from california. it was ok la.. not bad at all.. but it was a long time being on the bus.
now we have 2 kids and they are still young, so it's not a good idea to join local tour .. when will you be going to boston? we're planning to have a vacation in sept too.. just wanna relax and layback a bit for 5-7 days..
thought of going to boston but still not sure yet..

haha. finally there is a kid older than mine here. i have 3 boys, 8, 6 and 2 1/2. is your son active or not? my kids love swimming in the summer and ice-skating/skiing in the winter time. for getaway, u could try great wolf-indoor water park in poconos, or rocking horse ranch, horseback riding in upstate new york.

see.. so many moms live close to you.. sure make a lot of friends. and So cloudy gave you a very good direction for your hubby to go to work too.

terrible trip

hi Nillie mami and all mama,
i was a terrible trip last saturday, the tourguide dump my kid in the street, then we finally need to wait 2 hours to get on another bus to back New York

i want to compliant this incident, how can i do ?
