My maid is here for 2 months, but over this period, she has mentioned to us about the following:-
-hand itchy because of detergent
-hand itchy because of steam (steam fish)
-sore throat (give her medicine and later say ok)
- backpain (when I asked her why she doesn't take care of baby during mid-night)
- stomache because period pain
- itchy sole of the feet (she uses toothpick to "gut" the sole and "peel" the sole skin!!)
- lower part of the feet painful (one day after she goes out for a walk with us to Stanley because I asked her why she is so slow in doing all the things)
- lower part of the feet painful again and keep messaging for her own (one day after she goes to the Peak trail (less than 1hour walk))
....still have a lot of "so called" health problem!!
If I fire her, can she challenge me discriminating sick people??
You can fire her with the other reason, don't mention anything about her health, this will give you a lot of trouble. Give her one month's notice in lieu or one month's notice (all written) and bring her to your agency to do all the final paper works.

I fired her yesterday finally!! Reason - her attitude is too poor and she gave hot water to my big girl to bring to school and gave unboiled water to my little girl to drink. Later, I also found she stole $$ (though not much).
She beg me not to terminate her, but I know she is just pretending. She then refuses to go away and said she doesn't know where to go, it's so early in the morning (around 8am). I then take her luggage out and said if you don't go, I call police to put you in jail. She then goes out but still stand outside my door saying that she needs to wait for her friend. I then call management office to ask her to go away as security guard will not let her friend come in anyway.
Now i still don't understand what she is thinking, she is lazy and with poor attitude and shows us that she is not eager to have a job, so why when I fire her, she needs to beg me not to terminate her? (note she haven't apologized at all for all the mistakes she made and after I fired her, I found she even put a towel for cleaning floor into the washing machine and mixed up with baby clothes!! And she didn't sterilize the baby bottles and clean the floor which she should do in the morning).
