I have similar experience with the ants in my last house. First time, we call the management office, they send a person in and they put something like "ant hotel" around those area and it works well. But then after awhile ants appear in every part of the house, then they send people to spray the house, after spraying the house, most of the ant gone for a few weeks then some come back... but it is acceptable.....

我都發現有 ants, 係黑色的, 好粗身, 生命力仲好強, 老公用 tissue + 指甲按左佢成十下佢先 certified.

我早幾個星期都見到車房門口有好多黑色既蟻，我諗起我同事講過話蟻怕醋，所以我倒咗勁多醋去浸死佢地，後尾仲驚佢地唔死，再倒d漂白水落去，死晒。你地都可以試吓。

但我同 d 蟻一樣, 好驚漂白水陣味, 改用滴露可以嗎 ? 反而我好鍾意滴露陣味 !

we bought the ant trap, the ant killing powder, the home defence. the ants gone for a while and came back.
we tried use the 漂白水 & 醋, but as big head shrimp said, it is really smelly. anyway. we tried that for the last 2 years, and every spring, the ants came back.
yesterday, my 66 called up one of the pest control company. and they had the guy came in to spray the whole house, (both inside and outside). charge CA$95 .
at least last night. i did not see any trace of Ant

guess that is similar to those guys that rosaline mentioned (sent by her mgt )...

其實應該淨係醋都得架喇，漂白水係我bonus加俾佢地既。

始終屋企有小朋友所以唔想用咁多咁勁既化學野，我寧願有味都好過有化學野係屋企既空氣入面(其實開咗窗d味好快散)，所以我盡量都會試吓d天然方法先，真係好離譜先諗其他。不過touch wood暫時都未見到好多，唔知會唔會係我平時拖地都用1:99漂白水拖，所以好d。(希望以後都唔會有!)

滴露真係唔知得唔得，不如你試完話我知。我都好鐘意滴露個陣味，以前係香港我會加小小落去洗衫，但係呢邊唔係咁普遍，西人超市唔多覺有得賣，所以過到嚟呢邊冇用lu。

yeah la, there a so many ants "outside", in the back yard, don't know the front yet as we don't use the front door......today is quite dry, so, will try spary some insert control outside the hse....hope they won't come it la...

toto8 - i like the smell of dettol, too....also add into washing machine...even here.....i brought fr T&T loh....but really expensive here ha...

我住得比較遠，好少去TNT，一年去TNT既次數一隻手都數得晒，不過聽你地咁講，我會特登去睇吓，希望唔會貴過香港好多。

我住Stouffville，你知唔知係邊呀，喺係Markham以北一個小鎮，其實都唔算非常遠既，我地逄星期六都去Markham，不過Scarborough真係好少去喇。我阿媽佢地就係住喺Steeles & Middlefield嗰間TNT附近（行去都得），佢差唔多日日都去，係TNT fan嚟㗎。:lol:
