今日去赤柱行街，有間鋪頭貼左句英文在收銀機後＂Use Lesser Plastic Bag\",請問文法正確嗎？我朋友話啱，但我總覺得用lesser好似吾岩。

有無英文叻的jm可告訴我。

Use fewer plastic bags... 因為膠袋係可數名詞 countable nouns.

Less and lesser 都係 "little" 的comparative form:

"Another school of thought gives a better explanation on the issue of the difference between less and lesser. According to these grammarians, using lesser or less in a sentence will largely depend on whether you are DEALING with a noun or adjective.

If you are dealing with a noun then you should use ‘lesser’ and ‘less’. For example:

Of the two brothers, Tom has the lesser talent.

John has lesser courage than his brother, Tom.

John has less strength than his brother, Tom.

When DEALING with an adjective, you should use only ‘Less’ and not ‘lesser’. For example:

Your food is less tasteful than Tom’s food.

Amanda is less beautiful than her sister, Tina.

John is less courageous than his brother."
