so, you have bought a piano? i wish i could listen to amanda's performance.

when will you plan to let amanda bath herself alone? sex education to little ones is new challenge to me. where should i start? you know, relevant information and assistance is quite lacking in hk.

how are you lately? no more spotting?

we just bought the Casio W110 for Amanda, as her teacher said, it is not the time to buy yamaha or something like those.. just let her build up the interest with piano before we move on.
I believe that she is still too young to let her bath herself, although, sometime I did that. Nowadays, she is the one to put soap all over her body withour my assistant, and some times, I did not even undress and get into the shower with her.. but, I will not let her to take a shower without my supervision, because she is too young to manage the hot water.
I started the sexual education, since Amanda was 2 years old, just very basic concept, about the out look of the organs, the name of it.. at that same time. we sang "head, and shoulder, knees and toes". then, I told her what is privacy.. which means no body can touch or see her private area when she was almost 3 years old. now she can tell you, the different between me and her, daddy+gabriel(boys) and her.
Shower time, potty time are good time to start with sexual education, because they can't run away.. heehee

thanks for asking. no more spotting so far. but not yet able to feel the fetal movt. so, still worry from time to time.

thanks for good tips. my little boy likes playing with water alot. so, i also worry about him while bath. i guess he will continue to like it till older. i guess we need the close supervision of bathing time for a very long time. :;pppp:

these child abuse stories really breaks my heart. i dunno how anyone could do that to a little girl..some men r so sick..not even talking about the austrian father...

anyway, I am having trouble teaching my two older boys sex education too. he said he doesnt know what it is but it's something dirty ?? i dunno how to explain to him.......

talking about bathing, i don't like my husband let my boy taking shower himself although my husband just stayed outside the shower curtain. however, he's been doing that probably since he's 4. no matter how many times i said it's not a good idea and he's not mature enough to do that, my husband just igore me. however, whenever my husband is at home, my boy only wants daddy and he won't let me take shower for him.

when i take shower for my boy, i always told him to clean "that part" himself and told him only himself can touch it. so, when he had the well-check yesterday, i had to tell him ahead of them that the doctor was going to check on it (coz it's uncircumsed) so it's ok for the doctor to exam it.

yes.. it is not easy to teach boys.. as we are not their role model, but they father are..
however, normally, father doesn't care about it at all.
They believe.. boy will learn it from experience.
that is very disgusting.

For Gabriel.. I have to think...

you can go to Family planning association of Hong Kong, they got all the teaching material. plus from department of health as well.

when I was a child care worker, we got all the material online or go to their centers to collect them.

Dear all..
we got the offer letter from office of student enrollment.
Amanda did not get the offer from Anderson..

She got a seat from NEST+M, which is much closer to home.
we accept the offer already.. as it is closer, and they got a playground inside the school.. Amanda likes this very much.
I can use the HOV lane to send Amanda to school, it takes about 25 min from home to school.. sounds better, right?
so, she will not attend St. Joseph hill academy, we need to go to that school and give up the seat as soon as possible, so they can give the seat to other student.

After 7 piano classes. Amanda had finished her very first paino book. Now, we start with the second one.
Her piano teacher said, once she has done with this new book, she will do the Grade 1, and she also able to run her 2 hands very smoothy.
now, Amanda plays with 2 hands..not very smooth as sometimes, she needs to think..
I wanna cry when her teacher gave her the first certificate..

that's better. make sure u have 3 ppl to use the hov lane and take the battery tunnel. shouldnt be that bad.
nest+m has up to 12 grade and they teach singapore math . should be challenging and u dont need to worry about switching to another middle or high school anymore..

congratulations that amanda got into NEST which is one of the top 100 best high schools in the US. for a similar ranked high school in bay area CA, people have to pay more than $1m for a small house to get into the school.

also, amanda can stay with her friends in the same school all the way til 12th grade. best thing is the shorter commuting part. sounds like a perfect choice!

yup, that is much closer to our home.
So, from now on, we will randomly go to Nest+M with different transportation, like with ferry + bus, Express bus +bus, drive over there and see.. how long it takes from home to school.

Amanda has her graduation ceremony yesterday. And Amanda was the first honour student of the year. She got the computer educational material as present.
and principle invited me to have a speech. I was so surprised. I did not expect that. And Amanda will be the only one leave her school. all others will stay for kindergarten.

it is very nice... very very nice.. I am glad that my director allowed me to leave from work 1.5 hours earlier for Amanda's graduation. And fat bear also can leave from work early, so we can be there for the ceremony on time.
