I delivered my baby in July, 2004. When you check-in in the hospital, the receptionist will give you a welcome kit it include towel, soap, shampoo, slippers, comb, toothpaste etc. Then the nurse will give you 2 packs ofmaternity napkins, some 床墼 and 網褲.You only have to bring your sleepwear, socks, overcoat( sometimes it is a little bit cold) and your personal facial cleanser and cream. You should bring a clothing for bb when you discharge from the hospital. All the staff from the hospital are very nice. Don't worry.
(2)For maternity napkins, hospital will provide 2 packs. It's not enough for me. I brought 2 more packs. But 網褲 is enough. The hospital will provide the maternity napkins with 扣. I like the one without 扣.
(3) No need to bring the diapers. You only need to prepare a set of clothing for your bb when you discharge from the hospital. Remind you if you are not breast feeding your bb. You should make up your mind what formula you feed your bb. The nusrse will ask you when you accept from the hospital.
Hope it is useful to you. Besides, when will be your EDD?
Dear hkclownfish & ihv,
It's good to hear that you can share experiences here. It seems that very few mama discuss Canossa Hospital in BK forum. I will deliver my 1st baby at Canossa at end Oct and I know that Canossa's materity room is under renovation now and the materity room is still in operation but in the other floor. The target completion date for renovation is end-August. I plan to go there to pre-visit after renovation in Sep. I will share with you later.
brgds,
qqbma
