What can I do?
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence. If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate. If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself. If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.

My twins did not like congee at the beginning. Later on I boiled with fish, pumpkins, tomato. Now they are eating quite well.

Another suggestion you may try to feed baby food first so as to let baby get use to the texture.

Add oil.

I use lean pork as soup base, then add fish, chicken, veggie, carrot, potato...in it.
At the beginning, she ate ok but after she had roseola. she doesn't like congee and I try baby food also. She eat couple bite then shut her mouth.
She seem doesn't like to eat at all.
sigh.....
