Basing on this case, I complained to embassy, Consumer Council, Immigration Dept, Police... know what? No one cares!
HK law is very unfair to the employers, we have no protection at all!
When I was in Singapore, the maid has no air ticket if failed to finish the 2 yr contract.
In Taiwan, no compensation & no air ticket if the maid had violate the contract or did illegal things.
In China, you can kick anyone out any time and only pay up to that date.
Why is it so unfair in HK?! My boss does not treat me that good even I am a HK citizen. How come our law is kind to the foreign domestic helpers and not to us HK people???!!!!
