我個bb 四個月大,因為搵左份工想返工其間俾formula milk, 我見英國呢邊黎黎去去都係個兩三隻brands,唔知邊隻好呢?大家可唔可以俾d意見我呀?十萬個謝謝!

My 3 girls also drink SMA~~

you might ask you health Vistor or GP. UK has 5 brands of Formula milk.

My health visitor said all are the same! I heard from some mum that SMA leads to contipation easily. Is this true?

Yes, my health visitor said they're all the same but different babies will find one or the other suits them better.
Cow & Gate not so good for my baby as he can't pass poo (or having very dark green poo) after having it for 1 minth or so.
Aptamil is closest to breast milk, according to a nurse whom I've talked to.
Some mums said SMA seems to make their kids smarter...and i'm using SMA for my baby now - so far ok, good poo but whether smarter or not, wait & see...

BTW, if you're breastfeeding, according to the law, your employer must give you time to express milk while working. It is a bit more work but baby can still have your milk - why not consider this instead of switching to formula?

我囡囡都係食 SMA Gold and then SMA progress (after 6 months). So far, 我覺得都 okay. 我都聽人講過食了SMA好熱氣 or 會便秘, 但好多人都選它, 不過我諗都係人夾人.

我仔食 SMA, d 人話係肥仔奶

又真係好肥 .. 不過識爬後就無咁肥 lu

佢食過 cow & gate, 不過每飲一次奶都痾, 好唔掂, 轉返 SMA 一日一次 ngng.

聽講 Aptamil 既味係最接近人奶的

SMA好熱氣----you can add one more oz water, if you give 8 scoops, so add 9 oz water...........I do it for my baby, who is 15 mths old now~

I use Aptamil after I stopped breastfeed but baby's poo is getting too runny so changed it to SMA Gold. However my baby is not too settle as he always want more so I changed again using SMA White(for hungier baby) and he like it and sleep long in the evening but my friends said it might not be good for his digestion but i don't see that at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestion about this SMA White. my baby is 15 mths old

i do the same too, add half to 1oz of extra water.

oh... really difficult to decide... it seems that SMA gold is more popular but Aptamil mimics breastmilk the best...

I usually mix the feed in ml scale instead of oz, so 180ml with 6 scoops gets almost 200ml of feed - so far it is ok. However, BB has come off his feed for a couple of days now and he sneezes a bit so I thought he is feeling a bit poorly and want to give him a lighter feed by giving 180ml and 5 scoops - everytime he finished half (or a little more) the feed only. Not sure whether he notices the difference in tastes or what? Worried...

Our baby are the same ages~~when was your baby's birth date?? My baby girl Kiyomi was born at 2/1/07~~

I heard that in HK, the mums change the brand's powder, must step by step to change, don't know UK is the same or not...................
