請問牛奶金即系“baby bonus\"?
系唔系一到步就可以囉? no waiting period requirement? thank you.

Before you startCheck if you are eligible[1] for this payment before you start your claim.
Conditions for claimingYou can submit your claim for Baby Bonus as early as 3 months before your child’s expected date of birth or adoption.
You must lodge your claim for Baby Bonus with us no later than 52 weeks (364 days) from the birth of the child or, in the case of adoption, no later than 52 weeks (364 days) from the date the child came into your care as part of the adoption process.
The timeframe to lodge your Baby Bonus claim may be extended if:

you are unable to claim due to severe illness associated with the child’s birth
your claim for Parental Leave Pay has been rejected, or
the originally eligible person, that is, the child’s primary carer, dies and you then become eligible for Baby Bonus, and you could not lodge your claim in time

If you claimed Baby Bonus before your child’s birth and they were then born on or after 1 March 2014, your claim will be rejected. However, you may still be able to claim Parental Leave Pay[2] or Newborn Upfront Payment and Newborn Supplement[3]. We will automatically assess your eligibility for Newborn Upfront Payment and Newborn Supplement[3] if you claim Family Tax Benefit and do not claim Parental Leave Pay.

如果到時你小朋友4 years old, 梗係冇baby bonus啦 (baby bonus=牛奶金)！不過你可申請family tax benefits, 不過係要報income的!

no more baby bonus since last year.
Instead, my bb born in Sept 2014 only get tax benefit & newborn(cant rmb the name) $$$.
Btw, isnt the baby bonus for a baby who born in AU and at least one of parents is a citizen ??????????
If ur bb is not a citizen, there r so many benefits she cant apply.
