My baby is eating rice cereal for more than a month.. and i start to give him congee instead of rice cereal since this week. He rejected and became very angry. Does anyboby's babies has the same situation as my baby??? And how can i solve this?

我個女都有類似情況!
有幾個問題?
1. D粥會唔會煮得唔夠綿/硬?(要試下BB鍾意綿/硬)
(我個女就係, 煮左兩三次綿既都食得唔多, 原來鍾意食硬D)
2. 幾點餵佢??
(聽家長分享, 初時試新野, BB冇咩耐性, 係中午試會好D)
3. D粥仔有冇加其他材料煲??
(頭一星期, 我淨係煲白粥, 之後加左D紅蘿蔔蓉)
......有時囡囡太餓, 都唔係太肯食粥仔, 我會俾奶佢飲左先, 再試, 唔得就算, 飲奶囉~ 千祈唔好令自己唔開心呀~ 慢慢試就得架啦~
反正奶奶有好多營養!

my baby almost 6 months and i try to give her congee on 2 Aug, and never give her rice cereal before ya... i just give her the plain congee and only give her 3-4 spoons in between the milk time... like snack..hehe...

try try la... and don't give up ya...

he loves rice cereal a lot, can finish almost 1 bowl ... is it neccessary to try congee or keeps eating rice cereal???

In long run, you still need to train her eating congee as this is the step before eating rice. My girl loves cereal / congee in more solid form, i.e. when I inverted the spoon, the food won't fall down. In the transitional period from cereal to congee, I'll ground the congee to make it more fine before feeding my girl. The texture is pretty similar to cereal. You may try this as well.
