Congrats to you two!!! I tell you what happened to silly me. I was totally petrified when i saw 2 lines coming up on my pregnancy stick straight away. I thought I would come back 5 minutes to check but before i walked off, the two lines came up together!!! I couldnt believe it so I went to the GP straight away with my stick! The doc wanted to refer me to the antenatal clinic but i thought it would be safer to run 2 blood tests because of my miscarriage 2 cycles ago. Two days later, I was worried because I didnt get much symptoms so I test with the stick again. This time, the second line was even darker. I tested also the next day hehe i just couldnt believe it...

I am only 5 weeks along...I guess i must have ovulated on 8/6.
Don't worry, pregnancysticks nowadays are very accurate! ANd you are getting two dark lines, which is excellent!!! Don't worry about eating everything, just don't smoke and have alcohol from now!!! Relax and enjoy!!!
Day 1 of your pregnancy starts from Day 1 of your last menstruation period. That's the way people usually calculates it. However, not everyone ovulates on Day 14, so i thought you should use this equation:
Day you are now - Day you ovulated + 14 = Number of days you have been pregnant.
