If that doesn't work, or if your phone will not boot, try this:

Turn the power off. If your Google Samsung Galaxy Note is hung or frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it.
Press and hold the Volume Down and Power button at the same time until the Galaxy Note logo appears then release the keys.
You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastboot, Recovery and Clear Storage.
Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button and then press and release the Power button.
Confirm your decision by pressing Volume Up for Yes or Volume Down for No.
The phone will reboot to its' factory state and you will have a [like] new phone!
