U've mentioned u r using server, right? So, what server are you talking about? Is it a Windows 2012 or Windows 2008 or Windows 2003 or Linux server?
Depends on which operating system your server is running, steps for file access varies. Besides, when u mentioned "share with your supervisor", do you mean the folder at network or local drive? Does your supervisor merely have read access or was he/she allow to delete or update those files? What about subdirectories?
Share via 網絡上的芳鄰 is possible only if your system administrator allows you to do so. Thus, that's why you would be better off if you approach system administrator.
Or you could describle more about your server and those access right that supervisor need.
