I like to ask how much are your babies talking right now? Comparing my 2nd daughter (Sep 04 BB) with her big brother, she seems to be able to talk so early & clearly. "ma ma (mummy), ma ma (granny), ba ba (daddy), BB (baby), gor gor (big brother), tse tse (big sister though she doesn't have any)", "head, eye, mouth, nose, bread, congee, tree, car, yummy...."
My son is 15-month (born on 2 Sept 04) now. He can clearly speak the following words:
Papa or daddy, ma ma, che che, po po (grandmother), kung kung (grandfather), e ma, how how (my brother), gor gor
Book, bus, taxi, dirty, shoes, socks (but not too clear), boat, car, tree, star, go, banana (says nana), apple (says ple), dog (says ger ger), hippo (says po), mum mum, cold, ball, mouse, yummy
At this stage, he can get many things and he can do many things.
He can understand and can do my instruction such as touch his head, hair, somebody's hair (e.g. ma ma's hair), eyes, nose, month, toe, knee, arm, ear, tongue, teeth, move his fingers, shake his body, wash his hands or dry his hands, wash his body, chin up, dance, bounce, kick a ball, throw a ball, read the book........
Wow, your kids are incredible. Your examples also reminded me a few words I missed. That's ok ! You must have talked to your babies a lot. I seldom have time, it's my helper who spends most of the day with my girl.
