We are planning to have a weekend during the July 4th weekend. We can have a BBQ, a picnic or a private party at Pumpitup, etc.

We need at least 14 kids for a private party at Pumpitup. I'm thinking the Belmont location as it seems like a mid-point for most families, but we can decide after seeing who will be coming. Also it depends on availability. Anyway we do not have to go to pumpitup.

mrschao: 2 adults and 2 kids
rose-mag: 2 adults and 2 kids
KellyIcy: ? adult and 1 kid
rikaG: 2 adults and 1 kid

As for the date, should we set it to Sunday July 3rd tentatively?

I'm okay for July 2nd or 3rd.

I have checked some of the parks in Redwood City and the one we went before has been fully booked. Another choice is BBQ in Lake Chabot but it should be very packed on these dates though.

My son is 13 year old, do you think he can joint us? Maybe he is too old for the other kids? If yes we have one more kid to count.

rikaG, of course your son can join, as long as he won't feel bored. My son is 7.5 and he likes to play with 大哥哥 indeed.

I have not been to there but Magic Mountain Playground looks so great and should be suitable for the kids.
I have initially checked the availabilities of Coyote Point Park: -

7/2 (Sat) Magic Mountain Picnic Area "20": 5 openings
7/3 (Sun) Magic Mountain Picnic Area "20": 8 openings
7/3 (Sun) Magic Mountain Picnic Area "40": 1 openings
7/3 (Sun) Beach Picnic Area Medium: 1 opening
7/3 (Sun) Eucalyptus Picnic Area Medium: 1 opening
7/9 (Sat) Magic Mountain Picnic Area "20": 3 openings

If we have the gathering on 7/9 or 7/10, there are openings for Stulsaft Park in Redwood City (the one we went before) and water features would be available for kids to play.

We need to have a count on each day then we can decide if we want picnic or PumpItUp or anything else. Please state your availability here. Thanks.

Rose-mag and all moms,

I have been to Coyote Point Park once and it's pretty nice. The Magic Mountain playground is big and you can also walk down to the bayside (not for swimming but a nice short walk).
