對,其實最大的褔利便是醫療,但子女的便要幫他們買保險至他們讀完書出來工作,出來工作後就像我們般看看公司有否醫療保障計劃提供,如是者,對嗎?

Actually, the benefits for elderly are not great at all in the states. U will be surprised about how much social security taxes u have to pay before u get any benefits, and frankly social security may become bankrupt by the time we retire

如果你問我，香港的公立醫療比美国好得多，私家也平好多。我哥在醫院做醫生的，他有一次急性腸胃炎入了er五小時5000美金。

我爸有insurance的（他算中產），他睇heart disease，800幾1次，insurance 因為醫生不在panel，要自己俾！

其實美國醫保同香港有啲唔同係因為.....
香港我地有小病通常係求其搵間門診睇就Okay
係美國叫家庭醫生會比較貼切啲
通常選好一個家庭醫生後有咩頭暈身慶都係睇佢
所以家庭醫生會好了解你嘅情況，小朋友就有兒童醫生
我見朋友個仔個家庭醫生由BB睇到而家9歲都係同一個
所以我地啲保險冇分門診唔門診，基本上家庭醫生就可以睇咖喇

My dad, who is working, still has to pay 499 per month for insurance plans, and the annual deductible is 3000! This is even than higher than I thought.

Obama Care is a medical policy created by President Obama. Everyone in the USA has to have a medicial insurance no matter is private or government. If your income is higher than a certain limit, you have to buy one for your family. If your income is lower than a certain limit, your state government may subsidy you to get one. The point is you have to have a medical insurance. If you do not have one, you will have to pay a penalty. The main point is Obama wants everyone has medical, eventhough you have illness which normally insurance company will not cover.
