Found that I had 10 Star coupons expiring 3Apr, not 5. So went to TRU last night and bought the Lego Castle Village Set, City Farm Tractor. After using Cash$, total only $97x. Equiv to Lego px x forex conversion rate of ~8.7, lots cheaper than air mailing it back.

For the Lego City Farm Tractor #7634, US$12.99 ==> HK$108.9, much lower than usual rate of 11+ nowadays.

It's horrible! I heard some thefts came to your hotel and stole the belongings at midnight ! So, don't stay some cheap cheap lower star hotel in KL !

I will pay more attention when we are going out !

My relatives told me that a few yrs back (~2y), it was dangerous for Chinese in KL and Johore (just across the border from Sing), lots of thefts & robberies, kidnap.

There is an iMax (roller coaster + other mechanical games) inside Berjaya TSq. Really no need to go far. We stayed 1 night in Federal Hotel, within walking distance but need to walk past another shopping mall (lots of electronic goodies in this one, called Lo Fat Mall (??)) then part of busy back street then onto a walkway over a busy road. This hotel is OK.

Also, don't expect fast service. Speed of everything is 10x slower than Sing !!!

There is also a Lego shop on ~7/F of BTSq, but not much. Can buy Lego gold keychain if you haven't got it, px OK. Otherwise not many cheap goodies.

Can visit the Borders Bkshop in BTSq too, M$ px cheaper than Sing$ px ga. There is also a Popular bkshop in Sunway Lagoon shopping mall but I didn't have time to go in, basement is Jusco supermarket, can buy everything. There's also a biggish supermarket at lowest floor of BTS.

And you can speak Cantonese in KL cos lots of ppl there knows Cantonese ga. If you need to call back to HK, can buy a phone card in BTS, I think on same floor as Borders, can make a lot of IDD calls with M$20.

Yes, I've also received the latest Star coupons, and asked if I could use 10 fro prev batch (exp = 3 Apr), plus 1 from the latest batch ==> total used 11 Star coupons. :lol

Hadn't made up my mind re where to buy last few weeks. Also, cannot use the Laisees on the Village set, so not much use anyway.
