My daughter can speak some single words and phases now. Is it too slow? She is 2 years old this week la! The great sentence that she can speak is , Elmo's there? and Where is the wall? Haha!

我個女19個月時突然之間識講好多野,吸收速度奇快,宜家都已經可以同佢有正常既對話,仲好有禮貌...佢日講"mummy, can you open my play-doh for me please?" 之類既野
不過我有個FD仔上個月兩歲,到宜家都只係識講"DA"
我個姪仔到兩歲半先開始講野...
都係因人而異既啫
你個女比起好多細路都算係識講好多野GA LA!

I always think that she is slower than the others. Just because my bun bun and I speak English and my husband speak Cantonese. Make her so confusing sometimes!!!

可惜佢只講英文...睇THOMAS中文版都仍然以英文講返劇情...情況令人擔憂...
不過唔緊要~我地一家可薶下年返HK, 到時亞女唔講中文都唔得!哈哈!

我仔仔都係一樣, 只講英文, 因為屋企d書玩具都英文, 工人姊姊又講英文, 不過間中佢會講下講東話好似洗手, 咩呀, 吾好, 一到十, 少少生果名. 我有個朋友係教kindergarden既, 佢話而家好多小朋友都係咁, 但吾使擔心, keep住同佢講中文就得.

其實佢地d小朋友聽埋聽埋識好多只不過係未ready講, 遲d講都吾驚, 因為佢地一識講就成日講, 一發不可收拾.

我個仔仔初時都吾係好講野, 而家....成日不停講, 仲成日問問題, 要你答. 仲要成日聽你唱歌同講故事.

My baby can only speak single English words only. I think she is quite confused when I start to teach her chinese. But I heard that it is normal for bilingual children to start slowly.

阿女差半個月就2歲生日時,說話突飛猛進,由講單一兩個字變成一組完整句子,:lol: 例如我哋準備去街,佢會叫:姐姐唔好去,陪chuchu(我只狗),煮麵食,百x買
英文方面差d,全句問佢,只懂填充,例如我哋講: wake up wake up, it's time to (佢答school):D
喺街見地下濕會講: wet,大風講:windy......等等
基本好多物件同動作都識,最好笑有次落的士喺渠邊有人跌咗個bra落街,佢指住講: bra

我之前仲擔心亞女只係識講英文,唔識講中文添!原來佢唔係唯一一個!睇黎擔心都係多餘既...

I told Piers about this the other day. Francesca was listening...she suddenly said "Gordon Brown."
Yesterday, Francesca watched an episol of Thomas...Gordon was really muddy but he didn't want to have a "shower".
"Mummy, eh-oh! Gordon Brown a mess!"

I think my son is very slow. My Bun & I speak english, my husband and our family speak canton. When he goes to class, is english and 國語.
He can only say single words and can't even say words with M.
If you ask him to point things, he knows many. He even knows some of the letters.

My daughter can speak a lot now, but still not a full sentence. Some Cantonesem some English.

my daughter speaks a lot after going to school every day. now, she can speak full sentence, such as:

mama please, may i have (_____) please? (____) is the thing she want to get or eat, sometimes in English, sometimes in Chinese.

How much can your child speak?

My sons can speak a lot of words now, in full meaningful
sentences in English. As we only speak English at home so now their first language is English, when they start K1 '
they will learn Cantonese.

I found one language they picking up quite well, now they speak lots of things like I want to go to Disneyland by one son and the other son would answer that : not now
Disneyland is closed. It was night time that they should
be in bed. Very funny.

The older son always helping the second son like : This is
for you and that is for me, please take it. Or do you
wanna try some? too many to count ...
