因我幫奶奶訂機票回多倫多,昨天問o左:坐國泰來回直航hk-多倫多(5月去,11月返),機票連附加費要hk$15440(約CAD$1970)
有無朋友知道在加國買機票是否平些?如果係的話,我今次只幫她買張單程回多倫多,待她11月才o向多倫多買來回機票便可.(我奶奶半年在hk,半年在多倫多的)

My mom bought the Ticker last Oct & return back on this year April, we pay CAD 1550.00 same as Cathly Pacifice for half-year limited.

唔該晒! 我剛也問到人,如果現在買定11月份的機票(由多倫多來回hk,半年限期)係CAD$1400所以我已決定幫我奶奶在HK買單程回多倫多吧!立即在多倫多出埋11月的機票就OK啦!

Air Ticket

My Friend also book ticket (Around Dec) .around HKD10000 (but have cathic pacific promotion) not only Mar increase about 5000 thousand, so next time u check agent if any promotion u can buy first then u will save money

CAD$ 1400 is that for return trip and 1 year open? Which airline? you can ask the agent to check and watch for your mother as each promotion comes out and ends very 'rapidly'.
My sister just bought air canada return trip for CAD$1260 and has to be departed by May 22 and open for 1 year.

April and May are always low season and you should easy to find promotion ticket, but those ticekts always has certain quota per day/flight, so ask the agent to find the date which is available.
For Oct and Nov, it is another low season but the promotion wont release so early, wait after AUG.
If you dont mind stopover, then the price can drop much lower, eg, Korean Air, United, Japan Airlines.

我打算出年3/4月回多倫多一次幫個仔找學校,到時要早D訂先得囉

It should be best time to buy promotion ticket for May, but it also depends on what date exactly. Early May shouldn't have problem but after mid-May may already count as high season.

Now airlines are very cunning as they move the high season just right before the school finish, so they can capture more passengers on higher fare. Try to avoid the school holidays as it always charge higher fare.

If you are looking for next year, only buy it after the Xmas as the promotion only release after the high season when the airlines want to sell the unsold seat.
