plan 緊呀.想9月去Bali or Phuket.
呀仔10月開學,所以想9月去but nothing confirm.要等new maid on board ah.
btw, thanks for introducing the agency to me. They are very helpful.

Chapman ma,

仲有,我果日同名阿仔去YC報到, 我hubby都同埋一齊去學校.
辨手續期間D staffs 見到我hubby坐埋黎都唔轉channel explain in English喎.我有D不高興囉.
Then 我仔週圍玩攪攪陣, 見到我hubby同佢我仔speak English, D staffs 都 only speak Cantonese to him 喎, 都知我仔唔明Cantonese 啦.

I thought they heavily advertise and position themselves as the real bilingual international school but base on what I have seen the other day, I was quite disappointed honestly.
From what I have seen, the staffs were not comfortable speaking in English. I doubt if the school fits my family's situation……..

Not only 四眼staff, there were at least 3 other staffs but no one spoke English. My hubby was there, apparently he could not speak Cantonese la, why they not switch channel at all? My hubby also feel alienated there.

I want Tyler to learn Chinese as well, that's why I choose YC. I just hope the staffs there would understand Tyler's need by then cos he will be more or less on his own.

Close to my place? Are you talking about some place up the hill?

We used to live in HK side too but after moving to the place now, we think kowloon side is as good. Move here la, our girls can play together...so as our lab.

我原本打算等Charis 1 yr old 識行就比佢返TT, 點知原本Mr Will教埋呢學期就走.咁我就要再find another playgroup.
YC I&T class 睇怕 no chance lu, disappointing !

呀仔10月返YC後, 我打算enrol him to Mandarin course.有心水, pm info to you la

My 哥哥仔 like a little fans, screaming all the time. He enjoyed a lot. This is the first time I took him to a show and unexpectedly behave very well.

Barney's song 阿仔大部份都like, Charis 都好like, always 睇到眼定定.Anyone know if we can hire Barney character to party in Hong Kong? I am thinking of hiring one to my kids' birthday party in Sep/Oct.

absolutely agree! I am reading a book recently indeed called "Tuesday with Morrie" and the things that Mr. F is talking about is a bit similar.
The thread is interesting especially the things that people argue about.

Charis 仲係好肥, 訓得唔多但食得好多!

Katiemami, 我唔打算再追果邊post lu, post owner announce 唔玩,得番D為argue而 argue 的人.睇到好唔C服. I have learnt something already enough.

Thanks again for the pics link of Thomas again, they were very well edited. Tyler repeatedly asked us to show it to him. We have played close to 50 times to him during the weekend.

Jojo,
I went to a talk by a UK Professor a month ago, the topic was on bilingual or trilingual education of kids. The key concept is to stay consistent from the date of birth. If you are speaking Cantonese to her from the beginning, better to stay with it or else the baby will get confused.

The prof. said the best age to introduce the 2nd or 3rd language is anytime between infant stage to 11yrs old. If you already plan to send her to a bilingual school, she will automatically learn at a 'speedy' mode and can pick up very well those languages easily. No need to worry about she might lag behind other English speaking kids.

I can try to scan you the handouts of the talk if you are interested. (Might take a while though......)
