Just brought a new 640G SATA-2 harddisk, I would like to install it with Window XP system but unsuccessful. Can anyone help?

Question - How to format this 640G harddisk ... to be used as primary drive? Indeed, I have no another drive on hand to format this new disk. How should I do it? What software it needed?

WinXP本身已經可以做disk format / create partitions......

PC > boot to BIOS ( press F2/Del {it depends})> advance setting > boot sequence > CDrom=>1st boot >> save & reboot......
insert winxp setup disc and press ENTER to boot from CD when prompt, follow the instruction step by step and you will get it done.

呢幅圖真係誤導哂，叫人以FAT格式安裝？咪玩啦！

XP設定係幫用家嘅硬碟整成NTFS格式，雖然兩者都可以認到大容量硬碟（去到2TB=2000GB），但FAT只能處理一個檔案嘅容量上限係2GB，如果你部機要容納一個超大嘅檔案，就一定要用NTFS嘅格式，否則就唔使再玩。

2GB，現今黎講已經係一個好細嘅容量。

try to select NTFS when install the WinXP....... then wait, wait, wait........
