I would like to share my experience for a 11 days at Koh Samui.
To start with, I don’t bother to type in Chinese, so, forgive me.
The trip include two adults and a 7-yrs-old kid and stayed in Samui between 1st and 11th of August.
Day 1
Direct flight was arranged between HK and Samui and arrived at Samui some time in 1540 hrs.
We didn’t spend much time with Immigration as we are the very first one arrived at the counter.
After pick-up our luggage, we arrived at Amari Plam Reef Resort (Chewang Beach) at 1630 hrs.
The hotel arranged a room at the back of the hotel road and was estimated about 350 – 400 sq feet.
So, it was pretty spacious for the kid.
We then proceed to lobby and settle the local tour fee with Wanchai Thongsaiporn at 1715 hrs.
Two tours were reserved via him, namely Kah Tao/Nangyuan (龜島/南幽島) and Blue Star Kayaking Ang Thong Marine National Park.
Two tours cost us about HK$2,300 odd.
We then spent our time at Chewang down town.
Besdies, we have to pay for the canopy ride, which cost me another HK$700 odd.
We subsequently end up to have our lunch at NINJA CREPES (i.e. 鐵皮屋, 係buri sara village 對面). The food is OK and not expensive.
We have order fried rice, noodles, a spicy green mango salad, mango sticky rice (with only half mango), two coconut drinks, tung yum kung and three tiger prawns.
Originally, we asked each prawn to be cooked in different ways, including BBQ, butter and garlic and another style.
Nonetheless, the cook make it all wrong and turns out all three were cooked in butter and garlic , i.e. cooked in the same way.
The meal cost $800 Baht.
As I’ve said, the meal is just OK but by the time we left the store, about 2130 hrs, there are still quite a lot of people queuing up!!
Be frank.
I won’t visit this store again as the food is not as good as I expected even though some forum said that the food is delicious.
