The maid I mentioned has never worked overseas. That was the first time she worked overseas and came to HK. However, she's got 3 kids and the youngest one was just 1 year old. So before recruiting her, I asked if she would have home sick but of course she said she wouldn't.

Could you find a replacement from the same agency? I couldn't. I felt that the choices provided by the agency were no longer good choice. She seemed didn't reserve good ones for me. How about your case?
I had exactly the same experience like yours. New bun arrived for 2 days and cried to quit the job. The only difference was that the bun has been working for my friend for over 10 years. I think she found that my job was so busy compared with her last job and she knew how to take advantage from me and quited the job at once. On the other hand, she went to agents to look for other new jobs and tried to be interviewed.
So, after this lesson, I must go through agent which charges high fees to the maid (not employer) in order to ensure the maid to be stable and work hard for my job.
