The maid is working for us for almost 2 months now.
My husband thinks that she’s ok, but I am not happy with her performance.
My husband and I always argue over her now.
That’s why I don’t really like her.
1)
She doesn’t wash her hands after using toilet or dump the trash. (After my 1st talk with her, no use.
She only did it in front of me.
Then I printed out a lot of information from the internet to show her how and why washing hands is important.
She seems to get it now (at least in front of me).)
2)
Don’t pay attention to details.
(I found food on dishes (3 times) after she cleaned them.
After I talked to her three times then she improved.
If she cleans the walls, she will skip all the wall sockets (very dusty).
After cleaning windows, you can tell that someone has just cleaned the windows but still notice that the glasses are dirty.)
3)
Talked back.
(When I told her, the stuff that she cleaned was not clean.
Her response was, “I think they are clean.
Only you think they are not clean!”
I was angry (blowing fire out of my
month after I heard it)
4)
Only do stuff when she’s told.
She will not take the initiative.
5)
Actually I didn’t expect her to work on Sunday.
However, it annoys me when she is not willing to pick up a little piece of toy from the floor.
She leaves the house when nobody’s awake (around 7 or 7:30am) and then comes home at 10pm sharp and immediately goes into her room and closes the door.
6)
Don’t follow instructions.
I told her at least 3 times not to use the bottomed pasta sauce to cook my son’s food.
But she uses for everything from fired rice to fired macaroni).
7)
She will tell little lies like she never turned on her mobile phone during the day, but somehow I found out that’s not true. She never used the pasta sauce for cooking but I caught her red handed the other day).
Good thing: never long faced.
Always wears a big smile on her face in front all my friends and neighbors.
(actually this is not very good because all my friends think that she’s very good.)
At least in front of me, she won’t use her mobile phone.
She starts 7:30am (now is 7:20am as my son wakes up at 7:30 and she will not come out of her door one second early) every morning and can goes to bed before 10pm.
