我都黎咗SG4年,我住係Ang Mo Kio Ave6,有2個小朋友1個3歲Boy Boy,另外係1歲Girl Girl,日日都忙到死,所以一個朋友都無,真係覺得好悶,我老公都叫我要識D朋友,所以希望係到會識D香港朋友啦!^O^

其實妳可以去公園玩時或去圖書館時同人傾下計...傾得幾次就可以約下去玩...去買野...

如果溝通唔到,你真係會好悶,所以不如你首先解決溝通問題,學下國語先,將來你仔仔返學都要學國語,如果你唔識國語,好難讀故事書比佢聽,華文功課又要用國語,可能你要教下佢功課,所以學下國語對你自己又個仔都有好處...

I am currently living with my 6299 and most of the time I am home alone.

very boring here as got no friends

hope will get used to the new environment soon la.

Hi, nice to meet yours.
I stay in Any Mo Kio too(near Toa Payoh), I have 14 mths daughter.
Ya, they are right, you must learn chinese. It will be more easier for you to understand and communicate with others.
Even I stay here almost 10 yrs, but i still prefer make hk friends more than local.

Can you find a playgroud for your son that you can go out for a while everyday...then you will know more parents and can make friends with them...

You can also set a regular daily life for yourself...

Why you dont find a job in Singapore since you have 6299. time will go faster

I did try to go to playground with my son but found that kids here don;t go to playground

I tried those in HDB and the one near our house (condo) both AM and PM but there no kids too.

I found a play area in Paragon so I try to bring my son there at least twice a wk so that he can meet other kids and not too clingy to me

I also found a playgroup near where I live and they meet every Wed for 1.5hrs

I hope I will get use to it slowly and make more friends.

Today I found out that there not many nursery places for 18months old. a lot of them have to be on waiting list and some they don;t have class for that age too since they cannot recruit teach

I think u are refer to me right?
both my 6299 are working at the moment but my 99 will look after my son when I start work which I already found one. just haven't confirm on the start date

did you easier to find a job in sinapore? As I'm going to move to Singapore early next year, so I would like to get more info about the job in singapore. thx.

I am staying in a condo too, but in the evening there are plenty of kids in the playground especially these two weeks when the school finished their final exam .....is it because yr condo have fewer units and mostly only couples??? My place have about 500 units so there are a lot of kids around.

From what I know now most of the playgroup take in from 18 months onwards cos u know that Singaporean are very "kaisu" :)
