When their wage level is raised to such an extent comparable to that of`local workers..., whats the point of keeping them in the house??? Shifting to hire local helpers is a must for me...if the raise does`happen...
Still believe most employers can afford that 1200 extra pay and so they might have the right guess! But don't they know there is opportunity cost for this 1200...If I don't spend 1200 on the maid i can spend this 1200 somewhre else like going to "yum cha" 7 times more each month with this sum.
