Dear Pakyu0429,

There are many different tours in all agency counter. One of more popular tour is the 'Mangrove and eagle feeding tour'. If you like kayaking, I think this one is also good and have gained a lot of positive comments.

暑假去d 水都好清, 其實langwai 係一度好easy 去的地方, 同沙巴一樣, 但冇沙巴咁多姿多彩, 佢比較平淡d, but I like also. Outside the Holiday Villa, there are restaurant along the two side of road ....Don't eat in the hotel === 好難食.

據當地人說, 最適合旅遊的月份為十月至三月, 四月至六月時黃昏會下雨, 而七月至九月則為雨季我們四月初去, 每逄晚上都會雷電交加下大雨, 但白天則陽光普照

玩
去浮羅交怡, 玩的都是不外乎幾種活動. 去之前, 我想像的浮羅交怡就是陽光海灘. 但原來那裏的海灘許多都是不能游的
那裏的水質看上去就好像香港的一樣. 我也試過去Cenang的海灘游, 但不久就發覺有0野咬......當然仍有海灘可游. 來浮羅交怡的活動首推Pulau Payar. 那是個離主島一多小時船程的小島, 也是個Marine Park. 水清魚多, 可浮潛也可深潛. Local tour 主要由三間公司經營, 分別是Langkawi Coral, Coral Island 及 East Marine. 朝九晚五, 包酒店接送, lunch, 浮潛用具.Langkawi Coral 每人RM240. 它的賣點是島上有個大浮台, 可下去浮台下觀賞珊瑚, 而且是buffet lunch.
Coral Island則沒有浮台及只是pack lunch, 每人RM200. 我們參加了這個.
East Marine 則不清楚, 每人RM230.
每逄下午一時, 就會有shark feeding, 鯊魚會到時到候游過來海灘搵食, 都幾刺激.
此外, 我們也參加了兩個 Dev's Adventure Tours. 分別是Mangrove Kayaking 和 Jungletrekking.
Mangrove Kayaking 在主島的東北方Kilim Karst Geoforest Park 裏的一個紅樹林划獨木舟, 之後還有行紅樹林和蝙蝠洞.
在紅樹林划獨木舟使我們感到很親近大自然, 很舒服自在. 雖然那裏也有很多人坐船餵鷹, 但事實上有些地方是坐船去不到的. 我們的tour guide 也很專業, 為我們講解很多當地的生態知識, 他們也堅持不會餵鷹, 因為這對牠們和對生態都不好. 而且整個團就只有我們兩個, 感覺很抵, 也是個環保的eco-tour
五小時的tour, 每人RM220.
另外一天的 Jungletrekking, 又是只有我們兩個, 這次是Dev 親自帶隊. 走的是熱帶雨林單張上說的是easy trek. 但對我們來說一點也不easy. 森林裏根本沒有路可走, 要一邊走一邊爬樹. Dev 說有很多美國肥佬放棄呢. Dev也在一路上講解關於熱帶雨林的知識, 和分享他在浮羅交怡的工作. 他很致力於環保工作, 不斷和當地的酒店業研究在環保和發展取得平衡. 三小時 jungletrekking, 每人RM120. 雖然一點也不便宜, 就當是對他們工作的一點支持吧. Dev's Adventure Tour 還有其他tour, 例如 Mangrove boat trip, birdwatching, nautre cycling trip.

Summer is the wet season in Langkawi but it's also the low season, air ticket, hotel, tour and car rental may be less expensive. Christmas is the peak season, everything is more expensive!

我都係諗住暑假去, 不過睇完d相同video覺得都唔係想像中咁靚咋喎! 聽聞果到嘅海灘d沙幼到好似粟粉咁嘅?! 天色仲好似呢幾日嘅香港咁灰灰的...睇落都唔似咁靚喎. 好失望!

如果我真係好想去有藍天白雲, 水清沙幼嘅地方, 平平地仲有冇選擇呢?

每年平均雨量最多應該係 8-10月

另外藍天白雲無得包架,
剩係想"平平地"去"水清沙幼嘅地方"就一定係淡季即雨季去

去 Sun & Beach 最啱暑假去係印尼, 泰國蘇梅
馬來本島東岸 e.g tioman, Redang, PERHENTIAN Island,

其他如菲律賓, 海南, 布吉/喀比, Langkawi都係雨季

I've gone through my old receipts and information, here are the answers to your Qs.

1. 請問join local tour有咩玩ka? & 去邊景點? 我會去5日, 咁有一日join local tour係咪夠啦?
I just joined two local tours. One was to Coral Platform (=Pularu Payar Marine Park) by Langkawi Coral. Adult: RM200, Child RM140. The second tour I joined was fishing trip for 4 hours with a private boat that could entertain about 4-8 persons. You can choose your own preferable time. For us, we booked a sunset fishing from 3pm to 7 pm in the Christmas Eve, it's really unforgetable. It costed RM350. The Agency was called 'Shah Kawi Hokidays Sdn. Bhd.' which was located in No. 12 Arrival Hall ( On right hand side when you are looking towards all the counters). But mind you, I went there at Christmas and I'm not good in bargaining, so may be you can get better discount!

2. cable car果到有冇time table 可以睇到?
They did have a timetable, you can ask the hotel concierge. But the schedule always change because of the weather. It may close anytime if it is too windy to operate. Here is a tel. no. that you can call before you go there: 017-5921362, or enquiry: [email protected]

3. night fishing o向邊到book ka?
For the second day fishing, we go to ask the boat operators near Kuah Jettydirectly, as advised by other HK tourists whom we met on the Coral Platform trip. It costed only RM280 but the service was not as good as the first one.

4. 租車一日要幾$$?
There was car rental everywhere. Even in the supermarket just right across the road outside Holiday Villa. The price was like 'seafood price'. In the first 2 days of our arrival, it's cheaper but as Christmas was approaching, probably more tourist arrived and it became more expensive. We felt saver to rent the car in the proper car rental, so we went to 'Kasina' in Sun Mall, which is about 5-10 min's walk from Holiday Villa. Always ask for discounts when you rent a car. At first, they quoted the official price but once you asked they would give 20% off. We rented a1600cc, local Malaysian made sedan, can't remember the brand name at a rate of RM120 including insurance, which was not more expensive that the other tourist shop/agency. How about "Bayview International Hotels & Resorts" and "Awana Porto Malai Hotels & Resorts" ? Any facilities inside ? What activities and where is good to go in 浮羅交怡 for 5 yrs old child ? Fish feeding and zoo visit ?
