I just got their application form and posted it back to them.
I know their pg is good, but don't know if their nursery class is good as well, but I applied anyway....Look forward to visit their campus and having the interview.

twinjoes and mianyang_99, my b is now studying in Joyful paygroup and I am happy to learn this news. Do you know whether the nursery is only English? How much schoo fee? Will the existing tutor in the centre be transferred to the new school?

I have no idea as i just learnt about the news here,
I guess you can ask the staff at the centre, paricularly that your kid is studying there.
Anyway, the school will have a briefing in June and we should learn more about the school.

mianyang_99, my son has not yet tried the English immersion. He is still in Baby Brain. The nursery will be 2/3 English + 1/3 PTH.

Agree with you that it's new and has no track record and yet its school fee is not cheap.

Hi , so how big is your son?
Do you have confidence in their PG so far?

I have submitted the form anyway....after talking to the staff who told me that the nursery is an international kind of school and only PTH and English will be used for the lessons. This kind of langauage environment is something i have always desired for as I want to let my son build up a strong language foundation from the pre-school stage. So, though i may have to take risk to be the 'white mouse" , i still want to try the nursery year which, afterall, is not really that improtant and i can always change to another kinder after PN ......

So, are you going to apply? Regarding the school fee, I think it is quite cheap compared with other international kinder.

I am looking forward to visit thier campus which should be ready by early June.

My son is around 16 months. The PG is quite good. I haven't decided whether to enrol for nursery since all teachers are newly hired and it will be their first year of running nursery. So honestly, really not much confidence in the nursery......

One alternative is to let son have both English and Mandarin PG in Joyful centre. But definitely the school fee will be more expensive than going to nursery.

How old is your kid?

Hi, my son is already 2yrs & 3 months old la.
He is currently studying at Wisdom nursery at Riveria Garden (海濱慧中) for PN class. However, since the level of this nursery is only average, I want to enrol him to a better one, in terms of langauage teaching, for the new school year of 01-11( my son is not big enough to apply K1). So, if i can't get into a better nursery, I may still consider to apply Joyful as this one would be run as an international kindergarten, which would provide a better langauage foundation for my son.
