Just got a call from Target that we have purchased the recalled products. Unfortunately, we'd already given almost one whole bottle of 4 oz of Motrin and about 1/3 bottle of 4 oz Tylenol to our son in the past several months. The last doses were just given in the past few days and he still has fever now. Hope there won't be any adverse side-effects ...
You might want to check your medication cabinet too:

Now we have switched to the generic brands instead per my pharmacist friend's recommedation.

Thanks for posting. Hummm... same here, my girl just had a fever in the past few days and I had been giving her the 4oz Tylenol. :(

"Some of the products included in the recall may contain a higher concentration of active ingredient than is specified; others may contain inactive ingredients that may not meet internal testing requirements; and others may contain tiny particles."

I don't care too much about that part about the inactive ingredients, but "higher concentration of active ingredient" means over-dosage, that's not good to the livers.

Hope what the article says about "the potential for serious medical events is remote" is accurate.

if you go to the manufacturer's website and enter the lot no. of the product you have on hand, and confirm that it is part of the recall, manufacturer will send you a refund via mail.
