For some reason, I've been removed from the election roll. So I called the AEC this morning to ask what I can do.
Then I was told that it's too late to register now, so I don't need to vote this time since I'm currently in overseas. And I won't be fined for not voting. I feel it's so strange that I was always been told that if we don't vote, then we'll get fine. But the lady confirmed with me that I don't need to worry about this, and I just re-register when I return to Australia.
