Hello all, my baby boys were born at 27 week 4 days at QE They are 6 month old now (3 month adjusted). They are doing okie so far! It really needs extra effort to take care of preemie. We need to add oil! :D
Hello Bigheadha, nice to meet you too. My twins were in NICU for 100 and 144 days respectively. Quite a long stay.... and yours? how are your girls now?
Hi Bigheadha, it's good to know that one of your girls is home, hope the other one will come home soon. My boys were born 1kg and 0.95kg respectively, the 1kg one did not have any surgery but the 0.95kg one had PDA ligation. For low weight preemie like mine, the first 2 months is the most difficult time, it's a real rollarcoaster ride that there is always issues and complications.
It was tough to have one baby home and the other still at hospital, but i assure you that things will get better and better as time goes by. Your girl has been in the NICU for 1.5 month already right? I hope she is alright and most importantly GAIN WEIGHT.

Glad to know that your baby's brain scan is fine. One of my twins actually had the same problem that the head circumference grow faster than height and weight. One of the doctors explained to me that usually babies develop their brain first, secondly weight and then height. I am glad that your baby is coming home soon. :D
