My notebook computer can detect the wifi at home but when I went to Internet Explorer, I cannot access to any website, anyone know why. I saw there was a sign on the lower right hand corner showing it detected the wifi at home.
Pls advise, as I am a idot in computer.
It seem more on your notebook network issue rather than IE, please check your network connection.
1) Go to start-> run -> cmd
2) ipconfig for your WIFI IP
3) If you got WIFI IP then try to ping your gateyway, if works and good, then that means your WIFI router not config properly to internet.
4) If you do not get WIFI IP, then you need to check WIFI config inside router.
