DWE Mom's Talk

Can anyone share with me the daily schedule of your DWE programme?? Ian's schedule is as follow:

1. Early morning: Wake-up songs
2. After breakfast: Talkalong cards (3pcs for 10mins and change every 2 days)
3. After tea-time milk: Repeat talkalong cards
4. Whole Day: Listen both singing and spoken versions
5. When I get home: Repeat talkalong cards with him.
6. After dinner: Watch DVD together but only for 30mins.
7. Sleeping songs to go to bed

I am still struggling to get him one more time of DVD during the day as I really don't want him to watch so much tv.

Rebecca, mine is similar to yours :

1. Early morning: Wake-up songs
2. After breakfast : DVD Time (about 20 - 30 mins)
3. After Lunch : Talkalong cards
4. After tea-time milk: Story Books
5. When I get home: Repeat talkalong cards and sing the songs of "

lay Along" and "Sing Along" with her
6. Sleeping Time : CD on Bedtime songs (just for sometimes as I think it's a bit "irritating" and now I read stories to my BB before she sleeps instead of playing the CD)

Remarks : CDs played whole day (including DWE songs, spoken version of "Sing Along" and other CDs like "Mozart Effect" & 兒歌 etc)

For TV, I think "the less the better" and not more than 1 hour per day.

here is Ian's schedule:

Morning: wake-up songs, Play along DVD, talkalong cards (5pcs), playing cards (random)
Afternoon: singalong CD, talkalong cards (the same 5 pcs), storybook

我冇特定某個時間做某樣野, 要睇佢當時有冇mood囉....不過有時我覺得ian會悶, 所以我會停一至兩日.

唉....我响書展買o左....仲未同charlotte定一個時間表.....只係得閒比d,得閒比d.....singalong就日播夜播(包括唱歌同朗讀), 但係我唔係好鍾意比bb睇太多電視, 所以只係間唔中比佢睇一集, 我都係要dick起心肝去set返個先.....等我參考下你地個timetable 先

(set好再post上o黎)

你地有無同bb睇storybook呀??我個囡好似無乜興趣, 當本書係toys, 本書內頁已經有d"巢"啦......不過playalong我覺得都唔錯,我唱歌,個囡都會做動作o架

Don't worry as the storybook 1 and singalong book 1 are both damaged by Ian on the first day. At least it is a good start if the baby is interested in it (even if he is playing with it). I will take it for replenishment when he is older.

I have a schedule for my maid to follow (as I wanna to know what has Ian done on a daily basis), although some of my friend saying that I am a bit mean . :-x :-x I can email you for reference if you want it.

To me, I would keep him to listen to it everyday even if he is not in a mood. At least we provide the environment, otherwise he will be easily to give up ma....

婷婷早上返 Babycare centre. 所以我通常下午才開始.
- Playing Play along CD
- Playing singalong CD (Both both singing and spoken versions)
- Play talkalong cards.
- Play Play along DVD (around 15-20 mins)
晚上:
我同佢睇一陣 Singalong DVD. Daddy 就同佢玩 talkalong cards. 我冇比 wake up song 同 bed time song 佢聽, 因為會播其他 music. 係呢你地有冇買 Wide eye?
我最近係 GC 買左套 First time reading...! GC 話會幫我 set 個 timetable . 所以遲 d 要再執一執個 timetable.

Doris, 我冇買wide-eye, 你有冇呀?不過聽講wide-eye已經唔再出啦.

Chris, 我只係買左super mickey, 即係只有dwe, ian未出世即係1年多前買, 好似要$3xxxx, 當時有部俾bb用o既dvd機, minnie大公仔, 一盒遊戲, 同埋幾張貼紙送咋.

我買o左minnie set, 要$2x,xxx 唔係mickey set (i.e. full set dwe), 唔包主課文o既課本同dvd, 我唔買全套係因為我唔想bb大do既時候都仲係對住同一套教材.......同埋我諗佢兩三歲時會有好多唔同O既O野學LU...我買o個時佢送O左三本有CD O既圖書比我O乍......

Chris,

I bought the Super Mickey Set at HK$36800 at the baby fair and they offer me a book with CD which is a summary of the songs from the programme.

My brother bought the Full Set (Super Mickey Set plus a Playset) at HK$46000 as the playset is not suitable for Ian at present.

Till now, I would say the design of the programme is quite good with "repeating language" for baby to learn from it but will see how the outcome of Ian....

may,

there are totally 8 singalong CDs (4 r songs and 4 r spoken vesion) For the playalong, there r 3 DVD for watching and 3 CD for listening to the songs in DVD.

我記得響書展既時候﹐個sales話minnie set係有主課程12隻DVD﹐但唔包書羅﹗佢俾張chart我睇都係咁寫架播

我買o左minnie set, 要$2x,xxx 唔係mickey set (i.e. full set dwe), 唔包主課文o既課本同dvd, 我唔買全套係因為我唔想bb大do既時候都仲係對住同一套教材.......同埋我諗佢兩三歲時會有好多唔同O既O野學LU...我買o個時佢送O左三本有CD O既圖書比我O乍......

hi! 你地好, 我都係買左full set 比bb, 我由上個星期開始比佢聽同睇, 佢好鍾意play along dvd 同 cd, 佢每日都要自己去個櫃到攞隻碟出黎比我播, 有時仲自己去書櫃搵書, 有時又會去海報睇圖, 我都幾開心, 因為我係full time mom, 有時成日對住佢又唔知教佢咩好, 依家有套教材而佢又鍾意都幾好, 我唔會set死個time table比佢, 我都會睇佢狀態黎做, 總之story就一定會比佢聽!
