hi girls, i am in Elmhurst. 呢邊真係無咩好daycare. 唐人果D真係麻麻地。我個仔3歲多D時去PEEKABOO(係大中華斜對面) 學校校舍幾好但係讀得耐就發覺佢地management好有問題。我個仔讀左一年半但其間換左9個先生/teacher assistants。E+我個2仔三歲半開似都係返flushing的daycare。you can go chk out the schools. they will let you in and take a look.
I took a look at one daycare near my area, it's like home style,only 2 chinese women take care of around 8 kids, charge $750/month, from 8;00 to 6;00, but i really dont like it.
i speak cantonese too. i am still looking for a daycare, it's very hard to find a good one, i know there are many daycare in flushing, but i live far away from flushing,if it's full time daycare from 8;00 to 6;00 and it's good and fair price, i think it's no problem to me.
actually i am a full time mom, i can take care of my son, but i do have a 10 months old girl, so i cannot handle 2 kids by myself, u know what, my son is nearly 3 yrs old, he is full of energy and naughty, that makes me tired and stressful.
I don't live in elmhurst, I live in bayside. I am new to queens too. I lived in Staten Island b4.
我都想我個仔同其他小朋友玩下，let him社交能力好d，所以先let him go to daycare, u know daycare is just like 托兒，學到的野好少。如果我個仔返daycare, then I think I have time to do housework too,我老公成日話我無用，full time mom都湊捂掂，成日要need help.話人地d mom 一腳踢，個老公都捂使理。

i think u can only find fresh organic food in large western supermarkets, like stop&shop, shop rite....
ksbaby, try stop and shop on grand in maspeth, elmhurst 山頂. they have some organic food here. one of the mami here send her girl to the new daycare on 55th ave close to target(?) i am not very sure about the exact address but it's a new condo. heard that it's clean and nice.

my 2nd one currently going to qhc daycare in flushing on 162nd st. we love it, teachers there are great w good hearts and patiency. i love that they sometimes speak cantonese w my boy after class ;) http://qhcommunity.org/?page_id=9

ksbaby, try the stop and shop on grand in maspeth, elmhurst 山頂。they have organic food there. you live close to kum lun/中國城/hk supermarket? we rarely go there cus the flies :X sometimes we go to 大中華 it's cleaner there.

jessbaby, 係呀英語教學﹐但先生都識講廣東話﹐好多時after school都有同我個仔講廣東話的。大少少4歲果班they have chinese mandarin time when it's class time. 我好鐘意佢地係三四個先生對16個學生。以前我個仔初初返果D仲少D﹐係兩個先生對8個小朋友。我地多數係flushing買餸﹐多數係大中華on northern blvd near parson 同新中美(定大中美?) on northern/161th st.
ksbaby, elmhurst間大中華係queens blvd,麥當勞再行落D﹐豪朝皇庭對面馬路。elmhurst有唐人van仔搭的﹐可以出flushing/唐人街/brookyln, 容2過搭subway cus subway要行stairs..
間daycare係 on 55th ave and 90th street, 718-271-1850. it's like a block away from target.
