62同99批左緣卡佢地2老心大心細因為要同2個孫分開頗長的時間但因為姑奶係美國定居巳幾年好想父母一起過去生活
投資移民 --- 風險太大我擔心一大筆錢幾年後化為烏有(我地絕對不是大富大貴人家)
為左老人家開心,暫時唯一諗到方法我帶2個小朋友去美國讀書老公留係香港搵錢我都知當地生活費很高我地都唔肯定是否應付得來
可否告知小學學費(非本地居民)大約幾錢一個月,仲有無其他雜費或大家給我一些意見

請大家多多指教

but how are your kids going to study in here?
are they going to get a foreign student visa? if so, i don't think there are lots of schools will issue the I-20 for you to apply for the F1 (foreign student) visa, especially for elementary schools.

public schools are free but with recommended donation of about $500-5000/year (10 months).
private elementary schools are about $7,000-25,000/year (10 months) for just the tuition only. mid-range might be from $10,000 to 15,000/year.

by the way, not good for the kids living without the daddy and you without the husband. i think having the daddy living with the kids is more important than living with the grandparents.
they can always visit each other during the holidays.

我地還未申請visa, 因為問過好多升學agent都無做小學所以我想搜隻多些資料.私立學費都幾貴還未計住/食宿費即是這個方案行不通. 是否無他辦法(except lucky draw per year)

其實姑奶都已入紙申請我地,不過兄弟姊妹關係申請至少十至十五年我地仲要結左婚有自已家庭和小朋友, 想問係唔係要62&99一定要五年後取綠卡成為永久居民,美國才開始接受辦理我的申請

我都認同一個完整家庭好重要.我自己當然唔想過去一生路不熟仲要對住唔係自己父母! 但老公一片孝心(我當然覺得這做法係愚孝)想小朋友陪兩老一起過去生活可以讓老人家有精神寄托

你可以叫你6299申請你地，但因為佢地係綠卡，要等頗長時間，
等到佢地入咗籍可以去改身份，咁會快D，但最少都要預七、八年時間，
加埋佢地要五年後先入到籍，即係都要十幾年，不過就應該比兄弟姊妹配額快。
Lucky draw好似話會取消，因為批得太多呢類移民，佢地喺美國冇親戚冇人幫，
嚟度成為政府好大嘅負擔，不過唔知幾時會正式取消。

你姑仔有冇小朋友？而家上網好方便，教老人家上網，裝個Webcam，
用Skype好方便，老人家可以日日同小朋友傾計，放假你一家可以過嚟探佢地，
老人家又可以返去香港住吓。

剛剛睇到一間私立小學資料，外地學生要有有效移民局文件，証明小朋友合資格入讀小學先會收，如果你只係申請旅遊簽証應該唔得架，但要申請綠卡，到時你小朋友應該唔係小學生，因為綠卡申請都要頗長時間。

As a child care worker, as a nurse, I would suggest you that your children need you and your husband more than their grandparents and education in US.

Have you ever asked if your children want to come?
how you are going to apply for the student visa?
for the primary school in New york, catholic school, they charge $6700 per year, with extra $1000 donation as minimum, plus school uniform, lunch, lunch lady sub-charge, air-condition fee in summer, school trip, gift for the teacher. and a lot of practicipation.
my daughter (studies in public school) has 9 school trips per year, and also the parent student reading club 3 times a week and all school activities for funding. without you and your husband, how your 62, and 99 are going to handle? You do not want your children to be "left behind" in the class because no one practicipate.

you need to think and talk to your husband..
