I buy frozen salmon steak rather than sashimi. But I think they are cooked just the same. I steam the portion of salmon with a piece of ginger to remove the "sang". Then, I mash the cooked fish and add into the almost ready congee and cook for around 5 mins more. That's it. It smells a little bit "sang" but my daughter likes to eat.
