My baby has been having 純米糊 (用 breastmilk 開) since 6 months. Now at 9 months I want to introduce wheat/mixed cereal to her but all these non-rice-only cereals have added baby formula (skim milk powder) in it. According to the instructions, I'm supposed to add only water to the cereal. I was wondering if it is OK to continue to use breastmilk to prepare the cereal for my baby... I'm not sure if the antibodies / nutrients in the breastmilk will be destroyed.
Also, is it OK to add a little bit of breastmilk to the baby congee I make, right before serving (cooked by boiling and reheated by steaming)?
