When my son was K1, he attended the playgroup for K1-K2.
Good things:
- They have a piece of paper telling you what topic has taught on that date
- NET teacher
- Parents can attend in the last lesson to see your kids performance in the class (forget how long parent can stay, maybe last 30 minutes of the class)
- has a report for teacher's comment at the end of the term
- not expensive, $166/hr
Bad things:
- The teacher assistance is HK English
- Class size 12 is too big. Since they group both K1 & K2 together, the Eng level for the students in the same class varies much. After one kid can answer the question, the teacher will continue. But I don't think remaining whole class all understanding what the teacher said.
