increase the frequency of pumping & 埋身, if possible, better all 埋身.
take me as an example, my twins drink 7oz each at night, but i can only pump 8-9oz at most, so i need to pump twice for one feeding. however, i can fully breastfeed (埋身) during daytime. that is why we always said babies' sucking is far more effective than pumping.
sometimes I breast feed her, but always not enough amount and she wake up so soon even went to sleep after feeding, so I usually top up with the milk power..and I usually can only bump 50ml, but she drinks 210 oz...so if I increase to bump milk every 2 hours, would that help to increase more? many thanks
if u dont need to work, feed frequently without adding milk powder. no need to pump if u fully breast feed. pumping is not that effective because it is difficult to pump clearly unless ur pumping technique is very good.
i fed my twins every 1.5 hrs when they are 2 months old (they didnt know how to suck before that), each of them suck for 30-40 mins each time...........the most difficult time last for around 2 weeks only, ur milk supply will gradually increase and babies' sucking technique will become better. now i am feeding them every 4 hrs, and only 10-20 mins each time.
