Hi hi everybody, good to see you all at Part 2.
Subb, Adrianbb, I also lived in Tsuen Wan for 24 years before I moved to Tsuen Kwan O, where I lived for 5 years before coming to SF. There're so many yummy restaurants in Tsuen Wan and the price were very reasonable. I missed those days hanging out there, eating, shopping and renting comics books.
KongSiuBB, sucking finger is a way for baby to soothe himself to sleep. I did not let Spencer and Amanda to suck their fingers. I would take their fingers out when I saw them doing it. However, baby will stuck his hands (not just one finger) into the mouth when he's teething. I did not like the idea of pacificer too. But, I had to surrender to at least one thing as baby needs something to soothe himself to sleep. Otherwise, the mother has to put the baby to sleep all the time and it would be difficult and tiring when baby is getting older and heavier. Finally, my son and my daughter both like to grasp a blanket and bite on the corner of the blanket when they sleep. Although it may not be good, at least I can buy a lot of these baby blankets and wash it every single day.
Spencer still sometimes has problem sleeping because he wants to play longer. He'll trade sleeping time to playing time but he will be very tired and cranky if he does not sleep enough. So, most of the times, we will try to put him to nap and sleep at a scheduled time. He's just a little bit more than 2 years old, I cannot expect that he can sleep thru the night or sleep on his own. He likes to stick to people, he always want me to be in the room when he's about to sleep. If I'm outside the bedroom, he will keep calling mommy mommy. However, he has no problem to sleep in his own bed and fall to sleep.
